2021-03-01

Members of the AMULET Team, dr hab. med. Paweł Krzesiński and dr med. Adam Stańczyk, contributed significantly to the expert opinion of the IT and Telemedicine Committee of the Polish Cardiac Society, the Non-invasive Electrocardiology and Telemedicine Section of the Polish Cardiac Society and the Committee of Clinical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences entitled “Telemedicine solutions in cardiology”.

Comments from płk. dr. hab. n. med. Paweł Krzesiński: This is a very important and unique document for the cardiology community. It tackles in detail the possibilities of telecare, teleconsultation, tele-education, telerehabilitation and various forms of cardiac telemonitoring. The paper outlines the advantages and limitations of new technologies. In many areas, this document points to the possible directions for the development of telemedicine, solutions with proven clinical value but not yet widely implemented. This is a timely and important topic as the COVID-19 pandemic goes on. Many chapters of this document refer to the AMULET project concept and justify the search for systemic solutions that we are working on in our project.
